Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service provider specializing in maintaining clean and welcoming apartment communities by offering essential trash collection and valet services. Known for its commitment to customer satisfaction and community care, Valet Living focuses on creating a positive living environment for residents while supporting team members with flexible work schedules and growth opportunities. As a company that values diversity and inclusion, Valet Living is dedicated to equal employment opportunities and reasonable accommodations for all applicants, ensuring a supportive and respectful workplace.

The part-time Trash Collector role at Valet Living is an active, physically engaging position designed for individuals seeking flexible evening work hours to supplement their income. Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, play a crucial role in keeping apartment communities tidy by collecting trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to an on-site compactor. This role does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or handling waste disposal, making it suitable for those looking for physically active but manageable tasks. Utilizing a mobile app to log service details like arrival, departure, and compliance photos, Trash Collectors contribute to seamless operational tracking and quality service.

Part-time Trash Collectors typically work evening shifts about 10 to 15 hours weekly, predominantly from Sunday through Thursday, with shifts starting at 7 or 8 PM. The company strives to assign workers to apartment communities near their homes to promote convenience. This hourly position pays $18, balancing competitive wages with flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles. Beyond earning an income, employees benefit from opportunities for career progression, access to daily payments through DailyPay, and a supportive work culture emphasizing safety with the provision of personal protective equipment.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and comfortable using a smartphone application to assist with job duties. A personal vehicle, preferably a pick-up truck or one equipped with a trailer, along with a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance in the employee’s name, is preferred. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, walking extended distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role suits individuals who enjoy staying active, appreciate evening shifts, and seek a community-focused part-time job. Additionally, Valet Living values reliability, hard work, and a team-oriented attitude in its workforce. The company also offers referral bonuses and ensures job safety and support, making it an attractive employer for part-time work in service roles.
