Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in creating clean, welcoming, and well-maintained apartment communities across the United States. Recognized for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, Valet Living employs a dedicated team of professionals who contribute to enhancing the living experience of residents by offering reliable and efficient trash collection and other community services. As a reputable company in the residential services industry, Valet Living values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, ensuring a supportive and respectful work environment for all team members. The company is devoted to fostering career growth and providing flexible, rewarding job opportunities that meet the varying needs of its employees. Valet Living's core mission centers around creating a cleaner, safer, and more pleasant environment for apartment dwellers, emphasizing teamwork, responsibility, and community engagement.

This part-time role as a Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, involves actively maintaining cleanliness within apartment communities by collecting trash and recycling from residents at their doorsteps. The position requires the use of a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer, which is a mandatory requirement for this job. Unlike traditional waste management roles, this job does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or disposing of garbage into landfills, making it less physically taxing yet still engaging. Candidates will use a proprietary mobile application on their smartphones to log service activities, including arrival and departure times, tracking, and documenting any service non-compliance with photos. This ensures efficient communication and accountability.

The Trash Collector role is physically engaging, involving walking the property extensively, climbing stairs, and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Evening shifts from Sunday to Thursday are available, typically starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, which makes this role ideal for those seeking secondary income sources with flexible scheduling. Starting pay is competitive at $20 per hour, with expected weekly working hours ranging between 10 and 15 plus. Additionally, Valet Living tries to assign employees to residential properties near their homes to minimize commute times and boost convenience.

This position is perfect for individuals who are responsible, punctual, and enjoy working independently while contributing to community cleanliness and resident satisfaction. The company supports employees with necessary safety equipment such as gloves and vests for protection during work. Valet Living also offers quick access to earnings through DailyPay, referral bonuses for recruiting new team members, and career advancement opportunities within the organization. This hands-on job promotes health and activity, providing a unique blend of work and exercise for team members who prefer to stay active. Valet Living's inclusive hiring practices welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and emphasize community impact and team-oriented values. Joining Valet Living means becoming part of a respected company that influences positive change in apartment communities nationwide.
