Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable service company that specializes in maintaining cleanliness and enhancing the living experience within apartment communities. As a company deeply committed to providing exceptional service while fostering a supportive and respectful work environment, Valet Living offers career opportunities that are both rewarding and flexible. Their focus on community care, coupled with a dedication to innovation and employee welfare, makes them a trusted name in property services. By prioritizing safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, Valet Living continues to grow its presence in numerous residential areas across the United States.
We are currently seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who will play a vital role in keeping apartment communities clean, welcoming, and pleasant for residents. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a physically active, hands-on role with flexible evening hours. The Service Valet is responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags placed by residents outside their doors and transporting these items to the property's on-site trash compactor using a personal open-bed pickup truck or vehicle equipped with a trailer. This role does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, which makes it accessible to a wide range of candidates.
The nature of this job requires walking the property extensively, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Using a smartphone app, Service Valets will log service details including arrival and departure times, as well as tracking and non-compliance photographs, ensuring documentation and accountability throughout each shift. Scheduled primarily from Sunday to Thursday evenings starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, the position offers about 10 to 15 hours or more weekly, making it an excellent opportunity for those seeking supplemental income. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to offering competitive compensation for valuable service.
This position provides much more than just a job; it offers the chance to stay physically active while earning income, access to daily pay through reliable financial tools, and the possibility for career growth within Valet Living. Benefits such as referral bonuses encourage team expansion and strengthen community engagement. Additionally, Valet Living places significant emphasis on safety by supplying employees with gloves, vests, and necessary gear. The company also values diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunity employment practices without discrimination based on race, gender, age, or any other protected status. Joining Valet Living means becoming part of an organization that values hard work, reliability, and making a tangible difference in apartment communities across the nation.
