Job Description

Valet Living is a recognized leader in the community services industry, specializing in providing dependable and high-quality property maintenance solutions to apartment communities across the United States. As a company dedicated to enhancing living environments, Valet Living focuses on services that uphold cleanliness, host convenience, and contribute positively to residents' lifestyles. Valet Living prides itself on fostering a work culture grounded in respect, inclusivity, and opportunity, ensuring employees are valued and supported in their career advancement. The company’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment underlies all of its operations. It actively champions the development and promotion of individuals without discrimination, providing a fair and supportive work environment for people of all backgrounds and experiences.

This particular role is a part-time Trash Collector position, also known as Service Valet, offering an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to earn extra income through a physically active job. Valet Living seeks candidates with a passion for helping keep apartment communities clean and welcoming, with duties revolving primarily around collecting trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps. This position requires the use of a personal open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer to transport collected waste to the community’s on-site trash compactor, making it ideal for candidates who have reliable transportation and an interest in flexible, hands-on work.

The role is designed to be dynamic and engaging, involving walking through apartment properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors under various weather conditions. Using the company’s proprietary mobile app, Service Valets log their service activities in real time, providing transparency and accountability for the task completion and condition of waste disposal. With shifts typically scheduled in the evenings from Sunday to Thursday starting at either 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM, this job is an excellent fit for those who desire a work schedule that complements other daytime commitments or personal priorities.

Starting pay for this role is $20 per hour with an expected time commitment of approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. One of the standout benefits is the company’s attempt to assign workers to locations close to their homes, reducing commute time and promoting convenience. Beyond competitive pay and convenient scheduling, Valet Living offers access to earnings through DailyPay, ensuring employees can receive their pay quickly. The company also supports career growth by providing opportunities for advancement into leadership roles for those who demonstrate dedication and reliability.

Additionally, part-time Service Valets receive safety gear, including gloves and high-visibility vests, to ensure a secure working environment. Referral bonuses are also available, allowing employees to benefit from introducing others to the team. Being part of Valet Living means joining a workforce that values hard work, reliability, and community impact, making this position both a job and an opportunity to make a genuine difference in residents’ daily living experiences.
