Job Description

Valet Living is a premier provider of resident services and a leader in enhancing the living experiences at apartment communities across the United States. This company specializes in delivering tailored trash collection and community care services designed to promote clean, safe, and welcoming neighborhoods. Recognized for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, Valet Living employs dedicated, hardworking individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the communities they serve. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, the company integrates technology into its service model to improve communication and streamline operations, providing service valets with a user-friendly mobile app to manage their daily tasks.

The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, is vital to maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment properties. This position requires dependable individuals who have their own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer. The job involves collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site trash compactor. Unlike traditional trash collection roles, no heavy lifting of bulky items or off-site dumping is required, making the work manageable yet physically engaging. The Trash Collector will use Valet Living’s mobile app to log key details about each service visit, including timestamps for arrival and departure, as well as photographic evidence of service compliance or non-compliance. This digital tracking system ensures accountability and helps enhance service quality.

This role is part-time, offering evening shifts primarily from Sunday through Thursday with start times around 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The schedule typically includes about 10-15 hours per week, ideal for individuals seeking additional income alongside other commitments. Valet Living strives to assign shifts close to where employees live, minimizing commute times and promoting convenience. The hourly pay rate for this position is $18, reflecting the value the company places on reliable and committed team members.

Working as a Service Valet is suited for individuals who enjoy an active, outdoor work environment. The position requires frequently walking the property, climbing stairs several times per shift, and operating in all weather conditions. Physical fitness is important, as team members must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely. Valet Living prioritizes employee safety by providing necessary protective equipment such as gloves, vests, and other gear.

Part-time Trash Collectors at Valet Living appreciate several benefits beyond competitive pay. The job promotes a healthy lifestyle by combining physical activity with meaningful work that directly improves the living experience for apartment residents. Employees also enjoy fast access to earned wages through the company's DailyPay program. Valet Living actively supports career progression, offering opportunities to advance into leadership roles within the organization. Referral bonuses provide an additional way to boost earnings by bringing new team members on board. The company fosters an inclusive work culture, emphasizing respect, diversity, and equal employment opportunities. Valet Living is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process and employment, ensuring a supportive and accessible workplace for all.
