Job Description
Eye Tooth is the latest exciting addition to the renowned Tooth Family, a well-established group known for delivering unique and high-quality dining experiences across multiple venues. As a restaurant situated within this celebrated family, Eye Tooth continues the tradition of exceptional culinary offerings and outstanding service, aiming to create memorable moments for every guest who walks through its doors. Dedicated to maintaining the high standards set by its sister establishments, Eye Tooth focuses on a vibrant atmosphere complemented by an innovative menu and a passionate team committed to excellence. Joining Eye Tooth means becoming part of a community that values collaboration, hard work, and personal growth in a dynamic hospitality environment. Employment at Eye Tooth is full-time and requires weekend availability, catering to the lively pace and needs of a bustling restaurant that prioritizes guest satisfaction at every turn.
The role of a server at Eye Tooth is vital to the restaurant's mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences. Servers are the welcoming faces who interact directly with guests, ensuring that their needs are met with warmth and professionalism. This position offers the unique opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where high energy and strong communication skills are prized. As a server, you will be responsible for taking precise orders, using the point-of-sale system efficiently, and delivering food and beverages promptly while adhering strictly to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies. You will also maintain extensive knowledge of the food, drink, and specials menus to guide guest choices and elevate their dining experience. This role demands a detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy while fostering a positive atmosphere for both guests and coworkers.
Weekend availability is a requirement for this role, reflecting the restaurant's busy operating hours during peak times. Your duties will extend beyond serving to include responsibilities such as handling monetary transactions, monitoring guest satisfaction throughout their visit, reporting any equipment or food quality issues, and completing essential opening, closing, and side work duties. The position encourages teamwork, kindness, and respect among colleagues, supporting a work environment that is both productive and enjoyable. The Eye Tooth server role is ideal for someone with prior serving or bartending experience who is at least 21 years old and holds the necessary Alcohol Training and Permit System (TAPS) Card along with the Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card. Physical stamina and the ability to work comfortably in a dynamic, often noisy, environment are crucial to success in this position.
Eye Tooth offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees both professionally and personally. These benefits include a profit share bonus program that rewards you when the restaurant profits, various forms of insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program to support your well-being. Additionally, the company offers a 401K retirement plan with free matching contributions, paid time off, and meal and drink plans to enhance your daily work experience. Employees also enjoy unique perks such as free movies at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub, complimentary passes to the Alyeska ski and snowboard lifts, discounted memberships at the Alaska Rock Gym, employee parties, and merchandise discounts. These offerings make Eye Tooth a highly desirable workplace for individuals passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
