Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- able to read, write, speak and understand English
- possess basic math skills
- able to handle money and operate POS system
- sound moral and ethical principles
- excellent customer service skills

- basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to multitask effectively
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
- reliable transportation
- pass a criminal background check
- able to walk extended distances and stand for long periods
- able to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- able to kneel and stoop repeatedly
- availability to work varying schedules including evenings, holidays and weekends

- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous serving experience preferred
Job Duties
- Complete training and pass tests
- come to work on time and prepared for your shift in proper uniform
- protect business and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- welcome and greet guests with a smile
- make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them
- learn and understand the menu, floor chart, restaurant history, policies, managers and owners
- inform guests of specials and any menu changes
- make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy
- answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- take food and beverage orders and enter in POS system
- deliver food and beverage orders in a timely, sanitary and safe manner
- perform side work at start, during and end of shift
- maintain clean service areas at all times
- monitor and observe guests dining experience
- ensure guests are satisfied with food and service
- respond promptly and courteously to requests
- prepare final bill, present check, accept payment and process credit card charges
- assist fellow servers as needed
- assist with clearing and resetting tables
- thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
- be available to fill in as needed for smooth operation
- attend scheduled employee meetings and suggest improvements
- perform other duties as assigned by management
