Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively under supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to hospitality and customer service excellence

Job Duties
- Enhance the overall dining experience for residents, family members and guests
- Assist in the delivery of culinary activities across all dining venues including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations® memory care and Club Room
- Provide service at special events and private functions
- Deliver service in The Sterling Touch® professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely manner
- Adhere to community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophies as guided by Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests and team members to ensure satisfaction
- Safely handle kitchen equipment and utensils while following safety protocols
