Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a vibrant and growing family-owned company that operates over 60 resort-style senior living communities nationwide. Focused on providing exceptional care and a welcoming environment for seniors, RLC emphasizes a servant-hearted culture rooted in core values such as respect, honesty, kindness, compassion, and service excellence. The company’s mission goes beyond just serving seniors; it’s about creating joyful and meaningful experiences where residents feel valued, loved, and a true sense of community. These core values shape every aspect of daily operations and guide RLC toward four foundational goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations.

As a part-time Server at Resort Lifestyle Communities, you won't just be delivering meals—you will play a vital role in enriching the dining experience and fostering positive connections with residents. This role is especially suited for individuals who are compassionate, attentive, and enthusiastic about serving others in a warm, community-oriented environment. The position welcomes candidates of at least 14 years old, making it an excellent opportunity for young people seeking their first job, as well as for seasoned servers looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive and purpose-driven setting.

Servers at RLC are essential in both casual and fine dining settings within the community, where they perform responsibilities that include carrying trays, offering beverages, guiding residents through menu selections, and ensuring timely and courteous service throughout the meal. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, delivering room service, and responding kindly to resident feedback to maintain a high-quality dining environment. While no prior experience is required, candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, secure necessary local food handler permits within two weeks of hire, and if applicable, obtain and submit a work permit to comply with state regulations.

Joining RLC means becoming part of a community that values teamwork, servant leadership, and meaningful service. Employees enjoy perks such as pay on demand, employee discounts, and the chance to work in a beautiful, resort-style environment where leadership is supportive and the impact of one’s work is deeply felt. Whether you are just beginning your career journey or bringing years of experience, RLC offers a place where you can grow, learn, and contribute to a mission that makes a difference every day. This is more than a job—it's a way to serve with heart and be part of a close-knit family that genuinely cares about the well-being of its residents and team members alike.
