Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a distinguished senior living company dedicated to providing exceptional care and enriching lifestyles for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. As a fast-growing, family-owned organization, RLC operates primarily in resort-style environments that prioritize comfort, compassion, and community. Guided by core values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Compassion, and Service Excellence, RLC fosters a tight-knit, servant-hearted culture where employees feel valued and residents experience a warm, supportive atmosphere. The company’s mission centers on achieving key goals including happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations, all of which contribute to the sustainable success and positive reputation of RLC communities.

The Part-Time Server role at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a vital position that goes beyond simply serving meals. This role involves creating meaningful and memorable dining experiences that bring joy to the residents. Servers at RLC actively engage with residents and guests, offering warm, personalized service that responds thoughtfully to feedback. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll help maintain a positive and caring community environment where residents feel respected and well cared for. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are at least 15 years old and want to gain valuable work experience or bring existing skills to a purpose-driven role. RLC welcomes applicants with no prior work experience as well as seasoned servers looking to make an immediate impact in a supportive, fast-growing company.

As a Part-Time Server, your duties will range from assisting residents in casual dining settings by carrying trays and offering beverages to creating memorable fine dining moments by warmly greeting tables and accurately taking orders. You will play a crucial role in keeping dining areas pristine by clearing and resetting tables, filling water carafes, setting tables before meals, and performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy environment. Additionally, you may deliver room service meals and pick up trays, always maintaining a friendly, positive attitude in your interactions. The role requires effective communication in English and the ability to secure any necessary food handler permits within two weeks of hire, in addition to complying with any state-specific work permit regulations.

RLC values the contributions of its team members and offers perks including pay on demand, employee discounts, and the chance to be part of a family-oriented company with strong leadership support. Whether you are starting your first job and looking to gain real-world experience or are an experienced server seeking to make a difference every day, RLC provides a meaningful career path in a beautiful and purpose-driven environment. Serving at Resort Lifestyle Communities means more than a job—it’s a calling where your efforts directly improve the lives of seniors around you. Join RLC today and become part of a community where your heart, skills, and dedication will be cherished and celebrated.
