Securitas is currently seeking a dependable and committed team member to join their security team as a Part-Time Security Officer - Concierge for the 3rd shift. This role offers an hourly wage of $16.50 and is designed for individuals who are interested in contributing to a safer world while starting or advancing their career in security. Previous customer service experience is essential, as the position requires excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and employees at various sites. The role is an excellent opportunity for those with backgrounds in retail, food service, or hospitality, and even those new to security will receive comprehensive training to succeed in this position.

As a Security Officer/Guard at Securitas, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within assigned client locations by observing and reporting incidents and activities. The work involves frequent periods of sitting, standing, and walking, including navigating stairs and uneven terrain, making physical stamina an important requirement. The role may require lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally. Security Officers also enforce regulations and directives related to personnel and visitor conduct, ensuring order and safety in client environments. Beyond security duties, the position often involves providing helpful customer service and sharing information to support client employees and customers.

Job Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Must meet applicable licensing requirements for security officers
  • Ability to work the 3rd shift
  • Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking and lifting
  • Dependability and attention to detail
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites
