Job Duties

  • Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • Operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different methods of payment accurately
  • Execute point of sale and customer service standards based on company guidelines providing courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service
  • Meet or exceed individual performance goals such as credit and loyalty sign-ups
  • Support inventory accuracy through completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
  • Support the training process for new hires on the service team, teaching process best practices and proper point of sale procedures
  • Participate in daily service processes such as register and cash balancing, change orders, and replenishing supplies
  • Act with integrity, honesty and foster teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture
  • Exercise good judgment and discernment when making decisions
  • Demonstrate a customer service mindset by anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues
  • Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
