Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in locating items, answering inquiries about products and services, and addressing their needs
- handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring a balanced drawer while actively offering additional sales opportunities in compliance with local and state regulations
- utilize various techniques and technologies to maintain food safety standards for fresh food and deli items
- keep work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps clean, and perform regular trash runs
- enhance skills by cross-training in other departments including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and potential leadership roles
- be prepared to move and lift items weighing over 25 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
