Job Requirements
- Ability to work independently and individually when needed
- Part-time availability mainly on weekends and some weekdays
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to manage and reconcile daily cash and reports
Job Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Prior experience in retail sales or a grocery store setting
- Knowledge of retail math and merchandising techniques
Job Duties
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Ability to work as cashier independently
- Coordinate with current owners/ manager
- Manage/handle daily cash and run daily closing reports for reconciliation
- Cleans/restocks items in slow business hours
- Be part of team, and be courteous to work with other team members
- Ability to handle customers crowd during peak seasons of sale
