Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or relevant equivalent
  • good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices
  • superb written and verbal communication skills
  • strong knowledge of MS Office programs
  • QuickBooks knowledge a plus
  • ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, phones, photocopiers, fax, and copy machines
  • ability to lift 25 pounds occasionally
  • availability to work part time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • ability to work in a professional office environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or relevant equivalent

  • good understanding of office administration
  • knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices
  • proficiency in MS Office programs
  • experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • ability to multi-task
  • good organizational skills
  • experience operating standard office equipment

Job Duties

  • interact on the phone and in person in a professional and pleasant manner
  • operate PBX or multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel
  • process mail to correct recipients
  • track and create a list of needed office supplies
  • maintain records and files as needed
  • assist staff with other administrative functions
  • perform light accounting duties including deposits
  • schedule and make appointments
  • create templates in Word and Excel documents
