Job Description

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team at our Starbuds location in Arapahoe, Aurora, Colorado. This role is non-exempt and part-time, with an hourly wage starting at $20.00 per hour. The Part-Time Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for customers entering the store and will play a critical role in ensuring all entry processes comply with applicable state regulations related to cannabis sales. The receptionist is responsible for greeting customers warmly, verifying customer IDs according to Colorado MED laws and regulations, and efficiently managing the queue system to maximize customer service and safety. In addition to verifying identification, this role includes responsibility for scanning customers into the point-of-sale system, maintaining a clean and organized lobby area, signing in visitors to restricted areas such as vendors or inspectors, and answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.

The receptionist acts as the face of Vireo Health and embodies our company values by upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service. Knowledge of cannabis products and regulatory compliance is beneficial, as is previous retail or customer service experience. Moreover, this position requires strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, including availability during nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical capability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day is also required. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • must be 21 years or older
  • ability to obtain and maintain active Colo MED badge
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift 25 lbs. multiple times daily

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to obtain and maintain an active Colo MED badge in the state of Colorado
  • previous experience in retail or customer service preferred
  • knowledge of cannabis and its products is a plus
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Duties
