With more than 200 medical providers distributed across 20 practice brands and over 100 locations spanning 10 states, the group has established itself as a leader in the delivery of comprehensive dermatologic care. DOCS Dermatology Group is dedicated not only to providing outstanding medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services but also to fostering a welcoming, compassionate, and patient-centered environment that prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of every individual who walks through their doors.
As a company, DOCS Dermatology Group continuously innovates and expands its reach in order to meet the evolving needs of its patients while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and customer service. Its patient-first philosophy drives every aspect of the practice, from the expertise of its providers to the support provided by its staff. This commitment to quality and care makes DOCS Dermatology Group an ideal workplace for motivated healthcare professionals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of patients.
The role of Receptionist at DOCS Dermatology Group is integral to maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of each practice location. Medical Receptionists serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing not only a warm and professional greeting but also facilitating the collection and accurate entry of important patient information related to medical care. This role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who excels at multi-tasking and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. Receptionists work collaboratively with both patients and healthcare providers to ensure clear and effective communication throughout the patient's visit.
Key responsibilities of this position include answering multi-line phones, greeting patients and vendors, and managing the sign-in and sign-out process while obtaining necessary insurance and medical data. Additionally, the role requires scheduling appointments, handling patient checkouts, processing payments such as copays or outstanding balances, and providing ongoing support and guidance to patients. By maintaining a safe, secure, and organized work environment, the Receptionist helps facilitate the overall positive experience for patients as well as internal staff.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to be part of a thriving dermatology group with strong benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, company-paid life insurance, an employee assistance program, and paid time off, making it a rewarding career for those eager to contribute to a leading healthcare organization committed to excellence and compassionate patient care.
