The part-time Prep Cook position at ASM Global is a vital role within the Food & Beverage department that supports the culinary team under the guidance of the Sous Chef. This hands-on role is responsible for the preparation and production of high-quality hot and cold food items while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Prep Cook plays an essential role in ensuring food safety and quality by adhering to approved recipes, portion controls, and production standards. Key responsibilities include food preparation such as cutting vegetables, preparing baked goods, and cold sauces. The role requires a positive attitude, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining sanitary practices and proper workstation hygiene is critical, as well as proper labeling and dating of food items to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Working at ASM Global as a Prep Cook involves physical demands including frequent standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs, and lifting or carrying food products weighing up to 25 pounds. The role demands good eye-hand coordination and the ability to distinguish colors and objects clearly.
