Job Description

Harmoniq Residential is a dedicated property management company that prides itself on creating great communities through the dedication and reliability of its team members. The company is strongly committed to fostering environments where residents feel truly at home by ensuring that maintenance operations are efficient, responsive, and professional. With a focus on integrity, empathy, and collaboration, Harmoniq Residential operates under three core principles: Warrior-Spirit, emphasizing excellence, innovation, and determination; Empathy, which prioritizes trust and emotional intelligence; and Better Together, valuing teamwork and collective success. These principles guide the company in providing top-tier services and building long-term relationships with its clients.

The role of Maintenance Technician I at Harmoniq Residential is integral to the ongoing success and upkeep of the properties managed by the company. This position is suited for individuals looking to develop and build upon their maintenance skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. As a Maintenance Technician I, the individual will perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks that cover general grounds upkeep, minor repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more. The technician will be responsible for ensuring that grounds and exterior areas are well-maintained through activities like painting, minor drywall repairs, and general upkeep. On the plumbing front, this role includes changing shower trims, cartridges, replacing toilets, wax rings, and surrounds, as well as checking and reporting any water heater issues.

Electrical responsibilities involve changing outlets, switches, light fixtures, and ballasts to ensure all electrical components are functioning safely and effectively. HVAC duties include inspecting boilers in common areas and diagnosing issues with furnaces and air handlers. The Maintenance Technician I will also contribute to the company’s proactive maintenance strategy by utilizing technology platforms for managing work orders and coordinating with vendors. Regular participation in an on-call rotation is required, alongside assisting with vendor relations, thus adding a critical communication and customer service component to the role.

Beyond the physical demands of maintenance, this position involves active engagement with the company culture, including attending all-company meetings and weekly maintenance-focused sessions aimed at continuous improvement. The technician is expected to embody creative problem-solving and decision-making skills, demonstrate integrity and ownership in all communications, and view workplace conflicts as opportunities for improvement. Training and development opportunities are provided, focusing on work order management and continued enhancement of maintenance skills, ensuring that employees grow alongside the company.

This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, all within a team-oriented culture that values hard work, reliability, and respect for one another. Harmoniq Residential is an equal opportunity employer, committed to inclusive hiring practices without discrimination. For individuals eager to contribute to building and maintaining excellent residential communities while advancing their technical maintenance skills, this role represents a significant opportunity within a reputable and values-driven company.
