This opportunity is for a part-time Porter role at Explore Vue Kirkland, where the hourly wage ranges from $22 to $25, with a scheduled workday on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The role is designed for individuals passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction. As a part-time Porter, you will play an essential role in the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, tour paths, and parking lots. Your responsibility will be to ensure that the property consistently represents its marketing appeal while providing excellent service to residents and visitors.

The part-time Porter will be tasked with essential duties such as daily trash removal, pressure washing exterior surfaces, assisting with market-ready unit preparations, and addressing weather-related emergencies such as snow removal. This position demands a proactive approach to customer service, interaction with residents and prospective tenants, and support in maintaining confidentiality and safety standards. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write and understand English
Ability to use general office equipment
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy
Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance is required
Must comply with all safety requirements
Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment
Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower
Passionate for meticulous curb appeal

Job Duties

Remove trash and other debris from office areas and property perimeter on a daily basis
Assist in the preparation of market ready units
Pressure wash exterior buildings, sidewalks, etc
Assist with property emergencies, such as snow removal and/or other inclement weather emergencies, fires, and floods
Clean available apartments and/or model homes and common areas of the community, as directed
Address property maintenance concerns related to inclement weather conditions
Promote customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and curb appeal, and interact courteously and professionally with current and potential residents always
