The Porter role at Asset Living is an essential position within their property management operations. The Porter is responsible for assisting in the maintenance processes of the property, which includes corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance tasks. This role supports the maintenance team by participating in the make-ready process to prepare units and community areas according to the property's operational standards. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, the Porter plays an integral part in ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents and visitors. Responsibilities include regular cleaning, trash removal, maintenance of grounds and buildings, responding promptly to work orders and resident requests, and performing inspections to identify and address potential hazards or maintenance needs. The role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of property upkeep. The Porter also helps implement preventative maintenance to extend the life of community assets and follows all company policies and safety guidelines, including OSHA standards. This position requires strong customer service skills, reliability with daily onsite attendance, and a readiness to participate in emergency on-call duties.
