The role being offered is a part-time Store Event Coordinator position based in Tallahassee, FL. This role is essential to the customer experience, blending operational support with unique event management responsibilities within the store, including planning and coordinating children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other engaging events. The coordinator will play a key role in generating a stress-free, enjoyable, and creative atmosphere for guests, ranging from young children to senior patrons. This position involves hands-on event facilitation, including craft project demonstrations, face painting, and implementing party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards.

Beyond event coordination, the role requires delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers in finding products and providing solutions, managing speedy and friendly checkouts, and supporting various store operational duties such as merchandise stocking, truck unloading, and maintaining store recovery and safety standards. This position demands excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, strong organizational ability, and the ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
