Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior hospitality experience preferred
2-4 years of valet experience
Valid driver license and meet insurance requirements
Minimum of 3 years of full-time verifiable similar vehicle driving experience
No positive drug or alcohol test history
No more than 2 moving violations in last 36 months
No speeding violations over 25 mph in last 36 months
No DUI convictions in last 5 years
No vehicular homicide, manslaughter or assault
No suspended or revoked license history
No felony vehicle use
No operating vehicle without owner permission
No reckless driving or speed contests
No leaving scene of bodily injury accidents
No eluding police officer
No operating cell phone violations while driving
Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttle
Must be at least 21 years old to operate company or own vehicles
Ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Ability to push and pull up to 250 pounds
Ability to comply with grooming standards
Must maintain regular attendance
Ability to work varying schedules as needed

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior hospitality experience preferred
2-4 years of valet experience
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, written and electronically
Excellent customer relations skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Basic computer skills including Windows OS and MS Office
Familiarity with property management systems, phone, and POS
Valid driver license meeting company insurance requirements
Ability to work independently and self-driven

Job Duties

Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets
Offer information about hotel services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage
Call taxi for guests as requested
Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork ensuring accuracy
Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
Maintain check-in station for appearance and effectiveness
Assist other departments with transporting supplies
Promote a positive work environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, bell closet, and carts
Safely operate guest vehicles following traffic laws
Perform other duties as assigned by management
