Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's Outlets
- Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's Outlet programs
- Provide prompt support to all checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance
- Write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental
- Cross-functionally train in other areas of the Outlet to help deliver the best customer service
- Generate leads for Project Specialist Exterior programs by actively engaging customers in their project needs
- Use store systems to prioritize loads, print pricing labels, and to look up items or item numbers for price and inventory information
- Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies on shelves
- Prepare merchandise in department of responsibility based on customer requirements and specifications
- Monitor merchandise entering and leaving the store entrances and exits and assist customers or associates who trigger alarms
- Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly communicate them to management or Asset Protection
- Maintain housekeeping standards and programs to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, clearing aisles, and securing doors and gates
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to regular job duties
- Operate store equipment such as Zebra phones, telephones, paging systems, iPhones, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance systems, pallet jacks, electric lifts, and compacter balers
- Assist Pro customers by walking them to correct aisles, helping with product loading, and using STORE systems to enroll them in Pro programs
- Use the point-of-sale terminals to process walk-up, phone, email, and online orders
- Coordinate and support deliveries from start to finish, inspect merchandise before loading and delivery, and verify invoices
- Inspect and clean interior and exterior store areas as needed
- Report and address safety hazards and equipment maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
