Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Proven experience handling multiple duties and completing assigned tasks accurately and timely
Must cite examples of experience in planning, executing and maintaining a project from start to finish
Demonstrated experience adapting and demonstrating flexibility associated with changes to policies, procedures and processes
Proven ability to understand and follow directions
Demonstrated ability to handle effectively routine situations while maintaining high volumes of work
Proven examples of dependability and dedication to work processes
Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach, bend, push, pull, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, extend hands and arms in any direction
Lift up to 35 lbs frequently unassisted and 50 lbs assisted
Ability to verbally communicate and exchange information regularly
Requires visual acuity for reading and inspecting
Ability to prepare written correspondence and respond to email
Ability to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, fingers, arms, shoulders, hips and waist
Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, odors, temperature extremes and hazardous tools

Job Duties

Rotate among six dish room positions according to daily rotation schedule
Disassemble trays from trayveyor and prepare for cleaning
Run dishes, trays and utensils through dishwasher and return to stock
Clean and sanitize dish room, trayveyors and surrounding areas
Perform all pot washer tasks according to daily rotation schedule
Prepare, wash and ensure sanitary conditions of pots, pans, trays and utensils
Return all clean items to proper storage
Clean and sanitize major cooking equipment and drain pans in cafeteria
Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on pot washer
Organize and maintain par levels of cleaning chemicals, supplies and personal protection equipment
Clean and sanitize tables, shelves, sinks, refrigerators and freezers completing Utility Sanitation Log daily
Remove, clean and replace ventilation filters
Clean exhaust hood systems and stainless steel skirts
Empty garbage cans and prepare recycling for transport
Sweep, mop and clean kitchen floors daily
Complete Sanitation Log daily, recording all maintenance issues
Comply with all policies and standards
Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned by Lead worker
