  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Good manual dexterity

  • Previous experience in food preparation or grocery retail is an asset but not required
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation regulations

  • Willingness to learn and be trained
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
  • Team player with good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare company recipes in our kitchen
  • Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner that is consistent with store safety policies and procedures
  • Follow approved procedures for code dating, catering, storing, price marking and restocking of products
  • Maintain food housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policies and applicable health regulations
  • Trim and prepare merchandise according to store and department standards
  • Provide high levels of customer service
  • Contribute to a clean and organized kitchen environment
