In this role at Kohl's, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and clean environment across all areas of the store. The primary focus of this position is performing daily cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively, helping to provide an excellent customer experience. Duties include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles in accordance with Kohl's best practices and standard procedures. You will use only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to maintain a safe environment for both customers and associates. Maintaining supply levels by placing orders for replenishment and rotating supplies properly are key parts of this role, as well as completing required training for chemical and equipment usage. Additionally, you will be expected to perform basic equipment maintenance and utilize Kohl's technological tools to communicate and coordinate with the store team.

This role also offers opportunities to support operations by assisting with product receiving, stockroom activities, and omni-channel fulfillment when needed. A customer-focused mindset is essential, including greeting customers and offering assistance with products and services. Beyond these specific duties, every Kohl's associate is expected to act with integrity and honesty, foster teamwork, make sound judgments, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and meet or exceed their individual performance goals. Starting pay for this position is $16.45 per hour—a competitive rate reflecting the company’s investment in its hourly employees.
