Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Must have flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Capacity to multitask and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks relevant to cleaning and store maintenance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to detail
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use technology for store operations
- Integrity and teamwork skills
- Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Client-facing retail or service industry experience preferred
Job Duties
- Clean all areas of the store following Kohl's best practices and standard procedures
- Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Maintain inventory levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies by ordering and rotating stock
- Complete and maintain required training for chemical use, equipment operation, and maintenance tasks
- Routinely conduct basic equipment maintenance in accordance with company guidelines
- Use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate, and share information with the store team
- Support operations by assisting with stockroom activities and omni-channel fulfillment
- Engage customers by greeting and offering assistance with products and services
- Act with integrity, honesty, and foster teamwork within an inclusive culture
- Exercise good judgment in decision making and seek guidance when necessary
- Demonstrate a customer service mindset by anticipating needs and resolving issues
- Meet or exceed individual productivity and other performance goals
- Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain adherence to company safety policies for the safety of associates and customers
- Respond proactively to direction from supervisors and managers
- Perform other duties as assigned
