This position is an early morning role requiring availability starting at 6am, offering an hourly wage beginning at $14.10. The role primarily involves maintaining the safety and cleanliness of all areas within the store. The primary focus will be on performing daily cleaning tasks such as sanitizing floors, windows, restrooms, and trash receptacles in accordance with Kohl's best practices and established standard operating procedures. The role also requires the proper use of approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.

In addition to cleaning responsibilities, this role supports store operations by managing inventory levels of cleaning supplies, including placing orders when stock is low, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of these items. Associates will be required to complete and maintain training related to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and maintenance protocols. Routine maintenance of cleaning equipment is also a key component of the role.

This role demands effective communication and teamwork skills, as associates will use Kohl's technological tools to coordinate with store team members and assist in other operational duties such as receiving and processing product shipments, managing stockroom activities, and supporting omni-channel fulfillment services when necessary. A customer-oriented approach is essential, with associates encouraged to engage customers by greeting them warmly and offering assistance with products and store services.
