Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior housekeeping or apartment management experience
  • ability to work approximately 20-25 hours per week

Job Duties

  • cleaning and tidying
  • sweep, mop, and polish floors
  • vacuum carpets and rugs
  • dust surfaces, clean mirrors, tubs, showers, and basins
  • empty trash containers and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
  • clean appliances including refrigerators, wine fridge, coffee makers
  • maintain the outdoor living space, folding throw blankets and arranging decorative pillows
  • wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry including bed linens
  • handle dry cleaning drop off and pick up
  • change bed linens and make beds to hotel standard
  • keep inventory of cleaning supplies and household essentials
  • ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and sanitary
  • water and care for indoor plants
  • grocery shopping or organizing delivery orders
  • keep track of refrigerated items and pantry stock
  • sort mail, manage packages, and handle returns
  • check on the principal's car in the building's garage
  • meet service agents such as cable and internet
  • oversee special projects like organizing closets or gift wrapping
  • assist with preparing the apartment for guests and special occasions
  • ensure the apartment is meticulously clean and ready for the principal's arrival
