The Part-time Housekeeper/Cook role is multifaceted and integral to the smooth running of the home. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in housekeeping with a passion for creating a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. They will play a key part in managing household chores including washing, folding, and ironing clothes and linens, as well as bed making. Cooking duties involve preparing lunches and dinners based on recipes supplied by the couple, including grocery shopping. This requires a responsible and resourceful individual adept at meal preparation and inventory management. The job also involves running errands such as dropping off and picking up dry cleaning, helping to maintain order both inside and outside the home.

The candidate will also be responsible for caring for a 16-year-old Cockapoo named Sherpa, which includes bathing and teeth cleaning on a weekly basis, as well as the ability to dog sit at either the couple’s home or their own when the couple is away. Attention to Sherpa's comfort and well-being is a vital component of this role. The housekeeping responsibility covers regular light cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing surfaces, managing the dishwasher cycle, and trash removal. The position demands someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and discreet, able to handle tasks proactively and efficiently.
