Job Requirements
- must be able to remain stationary, navigate the hotel, and handle cleaning equipment
- ability to access low areas and traverse heights safely
- occasionally push or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- careful observation of guest rooms to ensure a safe working environment
- frequent outdoor work may be required depending on the hotel’s location
- occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes, chemicals, and loud noise environments
- travel to assist at additional locations may be required
Job Qualifications
- no prior experience or training necessary
- ability to understand instructions, guidelines, and policies
- effective communication skills with management and team members
- compliance with company standards regarding productivity and time management
- good judgment in all situations
Job Duties
- clean and prepare assigned guest rooms according to company standards, policies, and procedures
- maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas while in use to ensure they meet company standards
- stock carts and cart areas as needed or as directed by management
- address maintenance issues by reporting them to the front desk or manager on duty
- report any left-behind guest belongings in checkout rooms directly to the front desk and management
- assist guests by accommodating reasonable requests to enhance their stay
- follow all safety and security protocols diligently
