Job Description
Asset Living is a reputable third-party property management firm established in 1986 with a strong commitment to fostering thriving communities across the United States. Over the decades, Asset Living has evolved from a small property management operation into one of the most trusted and respected partners in real estate management. The company's expansive portfolio encompasses various property types, including multifamily housing, single-family home rentals, affordable housing, build-to-rent communities, active adult living, and student housing. This diverse portfolio highlights Asset Living's versatile expertise in managing different real estate segments effectively and sustainably.
Driven by a passion for excellence and organic growth, Asset Living employs a diverse and talented workforce that brings innovation and results to clients and communities nationwide. The company’s core philosophy, "Together We Lead, Together We Succeed," underscores its dedication to empowering employees to lead by example, collaborate actively, and continuously evolve. This culture fosters an environment where every voice is valued and every individual is offered growth opportunities as the company expands. Asset Living has earned recognition as one of the nation’s Best and Brightest Places to Work and is consistently ranked among the top 50 professionals in the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). As a member of The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and holder of the Accredited Management Organization (AMO) designation, Asset Living stands out as a leader in the property management industry.
The Housekeeper role at Asset Living is crucial to maintaining the aesthetic appeal, safety, and cleanliness of apartment community environments. This position involves the daily cleaning and upkeep of public facilities, common areas, and the grounds of the community. The Housekeeper also plays a key role in the make-ready process, preparing vacant units for new residents in alignment with the property’s operational standards under the Community Manager’s supervision. This ensures that move-ins are seamless and that apartments meet quality expectations for new occupants.
Beyond cleaning responsibilities, the Housekeeper acts as a frontline ambassador to the community, demonstrating excellent customer service and timely response to resident and management requests. The position requires regular onsite attendance with the physical ability to perform duties such as ascending ladders, moving between various levels and confined spaces, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds. Candidates must also be familiar with Fair Housing Laws and OSHA safety requirements to ensure compliance and promote a safe environment for all residents and staff.
Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, performance bonuses, paid sick leave, and recognized company holidays. The salary range for the Housekeeper role is from $16 to $18 per hour, with compensation dependent on individual experience, skills, and certifications. This position is full-time and requires flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night hours when necessary, especially in emergency situations. Overall, the Housekeeper at Asset Living is an indispensable part of a company that values teamwork, innovation, and excellence, setting the foundation for successful property management and resident satisfaction.
