Recognized as one of the 2019 Platinum Clubs of America and ranked number 6 among city clubs nationwide, The Fort Worth Club is renowned for offering an exclusive atmosphere for private dining, business meetings, weddings, and society events. As Fort Worth's preferred destination for upscale private events, The Fort Worth Club operates at the highest level in the hospitality industry with a commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a professional and personable Reception Host to join our esteemed team. This role is vital in creating the first and lasting impression for members and guests, as the Reception Host is responsible for greeting and ushering guests with warmth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.
The Reception Host will greet members and guests immediately upon arrival with a friendly smile and a firm handshake, displaying excellent interpersonal interactions that reflect the club's prestigious standards. This role involves gathering essential information such as member names, member numbers, and the number of guests at each table, then promptly guiding guests to their assigned tables. Communication with serving staff is crucial, as the Reception Host informs servers of their assigned tables to ensure seamless service delivery.
Proficiency in the Dining Reservation System and Jonas Floor-plan software is essential for accurate recording of reservations and table assignments. The role requires operation within a kitchen and dining room setting with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, demanding physical stamina and attention to health and safety protocols.
The work schedule is from Monday to Saturday and varies depending on business needs, including potential holiday shifts during peak periods. Candidates must possess legal authorization to work in the United States or hold an approved federal work visa. Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or hold an approved federal work visa
- able to lift up to 50 lbs
- capable of standing and walking for long periods
- available to work Monday through Saturday with flexible hours including holidays
- able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- high school diploma
- minimum of 1 year experience in related industry

Job Duties
- Greet members and guests immediately upon arrival with a smile and firm handshake
- get the proper name and member number and the number of guests for each table
- lead members and guests to their tables
- inform the table who their server is and then notify the server that they have a table
- enter all pertinent information into the Dining Reservation System and Jonas Floor-plan
