Hilton is a renowned global hospitality company with a rich history dating back to 1919. Known for its innovation, quality, and success, Hilton has grown to become a leader in the lodging sector, offering a diverse range of accommodations from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels. The company is passionately dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining its status as a beacon of excellence in the hospitality industry. Hilton's vision "to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality" reflects its commitment to creating remarkable hospitality experiences worldwide, supported by an engaging and dedicated team of employees.

The role of a Restaurant Host/Hostess at Hilton is pivotal to ensuring outstanding guest service and supporting the hotel's financial profitability. This position is designed for individuals who possess a genuine passion for hospitality and are eager to contribute to the welcoming atmosphere that Hilton is known for. As a host or hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, tasked with warmly welcoming them and escorting them to their seats. You will manage the seating chart effectively to optimize dining flow and enhance the guest experience. The role requires flexible availability, including working nights, weekends, and being available on-call to meet the dynamic demands of the business.

Your responsibilities go beyond greeting guests; you will monitor restaurant activity to ensure smooth seating and dining transitions while performing opening and closing duties as necessary. You will assist with various side work tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and folding silverware, which are essential to maintain the high standards Hilton upholds. Knowledge of the menu is crucial, enabling you to respond to guest inquiries and requests accurately and with friendliness and efficiency. Collaboration and teamwork are also important, as you will support fellow team members and other departments to foster positive working relationships. This role offers an enriching experience within a world-class hospitality environment that values integrity, leadership, teamwork, and ownership in all actions.

The hourly wage for the restaurant host/hostess position starts at $23.66 during the first six months of employment, progressing to $26.62 for the second six months, and eventually reaching $29.57 in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. This offers a competitive compensation package reflecting Hilton's commitment to rewarding its employees. Joining Hilton as a restaurant host/hostess means becoming part of a team that adheres to high standards of quality, productivity, dependability, customer focus, and adaptability, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality, this role at Hilton could be your path to a fulfilling career in the hospitality industry.
