Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
- less than 1 year of experience using retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- supervisory experience including coaching and training employees
- knowledge of retail safety and security practices
- ability to operate standard store technology
Job Duties
- Monitors and assists customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- proactively greets and engages with customers
- processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register
- coaches and supports front-end associates
- opens additional registers to ensure coverage
- inspects returned merchandise and processes customer orders
- maintains store cleanliness and safety
- detects and reports security risks
- operates store equipment as needed
