Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

- 1 to 2 years experience as a head cashier preferred
- 1 to 2 years experience working in any Lowe's retail department preferred
- 1 to 2 years supervisory experience including directing, delegating, training, and coaching
- Under 1 year retail experience detecting signs of shoplifting
Job Duties
- Monitor and identify customers needing assistance at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Approach and interact with customers to recommend products and services
- Greet, assist, and engage with multiple customers concurrently
- Move throughout the checkout area performing physical tasks to ensure accurate transaction completion
- Thank customers and invite them to return to shop at Lowe's
- Provide SMART customer service by executing company policies and procedures
- Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Respond promptly to customer and employee questions
- Communicate product and policy information to customers
- Coach, train, and provide feedback to associates
- Use cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds
- Provide monetary change support to CSA Front End associates
- Supervise and support CSA Front End team members
- Remove security tags and bag merchandise
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Open additional registers as needed for coverage
- Assist in line vesting for faster checkouts
- Prepare register areas by checking equipment and stocking supplies
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Enter, submit, and verify customer orders and tickets
- Review and place online orders and returned merchandise
- Verify price matches by looking up product info and competitor prices
- Record items used in the store
- Monitor cash drawer limits and safety bags
- Monitor store entrances for security
- Detect and report signs of shoplifting and security risks
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Adhere to safety requirements related to job duties
- Operate store equipment as needed
- Perform other assigned duties
