Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including data input and modification
- Less than 1 year of experience with smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- Ability to lift items up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
- Willingness to adhere to store safety and security protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the store during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years retail cashier experience
- Experience in customer service and sales
- Basic knowledge of retail technology and computer usage
- Ability to operate store equipment safely
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of theft prevention techniques preferred
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively greet, assist, and engage with customers during checkout
- Provide SMART customer service by adhering to company policies
- Assist customers with locating, selecting, and carrying merchandise
- Use cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
- Supervise and support front-end associates and loaders
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe store environment according to standards
