Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of work or volunteer experience in general office work, organizing and promoting recreational opportunities, or managing competitive or varsity sports within an educational environment
- Current Oregon driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certification and Food Handler’s permit required by date of hire
- Ability to complete a criminal background check
- Must reside and work in the state of Oregon during employment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and during college breaks
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to transport up to 50 pounds safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of work or volunteer experience in general office work, organizing and promoting recreational opportunities, or managing competitive or varsity sports within an educational environment
- Current Oregon driver’s license
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Food Handler’s permit
- Associate's degree or higher in business, accounting, sports management, fitness, coaching, recreation management or a related field preferred
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds including students of color, international students, and students with disabilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer word processing, database, and spreadsheet software
- Ability to organize resources and set priorities
- Ability to operate audio-visual equipment
Job Duties
- Build and maintain game day rosters for both teams
- Manage and keep the Athletics website current, including athlete bios, event schedules, and coach information
- Coordinate game and event live-streaming
- Coordinate game and event concessions
- Organize recreation opportunities in collaboration with the Athletic Director, PE Coordinator, Wellness Coordinator, students, faculty, and staff
- Provide supervision at recreation events
- Direct the work of work-study students for the athletics and recreation departments
- Assist with Athletics event operations, including set-up and take-down before and after events, organizing and training event volunteers, and providing additional staff supervision at games
- Problem solve and manage sensitive information with appropriate awareness of FERPA standards
- maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to the privacy needs of students
- Perform other duties as assigned
