The position available is a Regular-Part Time Front Office Receptionist role, requiring 20 to 29 hours per week with necessary travel among the Round Rock, Lakeway, Westlake, and South Austin offices. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that patient interactions begin smoothly and efficiently from the moment they arrive or make contact. The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for accurate and timely patient registration using medical systems, including the use of facility medical necessity tools to verify appropriate insurance coverage. Functioning within established policies and procedures, the receptionist must deliver exceptional customer service to physicians, patients, family members, and medical professionals.
Key responsibilities include greeting patients and visitors warmly either in person or on the telephone, documenting patient arrivals, verifying patient identity, and managing patient accounts within the Practice Management System (EMR). This role also involves scheduling and rescheduling appointments to optimize satisfaction, provider schedules, and room utilization. It requires handling emergency situations with adept reasoning and immediate response. Further duties involve updating patient information, verifying insurance eligibility, managing financial transactions such as co-pay collection, and maintaining confidentiality to protect patient rights.
In addition to these operational responsibilities, the Front Office Receptionist has the opportunity to contribute to the clinic's social media tasks by gathering content, sharing approved updates, and supporting community engagement efforts as directed. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, courtesy, and teamwork to support the clinic’s environment and patient care objectives.

Job Duties
