Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Effective computer skills and knowledge
- Minimum one year experience working with homeless population
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

- Preferred bilingual in any language
- Preferred knowledge in addiction, recovery, and mental illness
- Preferred knowledge of issues pertaining to homelessness
Job Duties
- Maintain an exceptional customer service oriented front desk environment
- Welcome guests, staff, and visitors in person and via phone
- Respond to guest and neighbor concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner
- Operate electronic entry monitoring system and multi-line phone system
- Log all activities of the shift
- Create and update guest IDs in the Pine Street data system
- Assist guests in accessing services such as food, clothing, medical care, and referrals
- Ensure a safe and secure environment by attending to safety and security policies
- Collaborate frequently with on-site security services and other Pine Street departments
- Assess guests' needs and assets to make appropriate transitional and housing referrals
- Serve as a resource to assist guests in obtaining permanent housing
