As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Associate will greet families warmly, answer questions, and help patients initiate the self-registration process. They will also maintain patient accounts by accurately recording demographics, insurance, and financial information in compliance with HIPAA standards. The role involves handling patient documents, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring smooth patient flow during waiting and registration periods. The position also requires collaboration with site leadership to facilitate prompt resolution of complex patient issues and escalations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to adapt to shifting demands in a healthcare environment. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems are essential. This role occasionally requires flexibility in work schedules, including potential travel between sites.

Job Duties
- Greet families professionally both in person and on the phone
- answer patient and family questions and seek clarification when necessary

- manage patient flow and assist with self-registration
- maintain accurate patient records and uphold HIPAA compliance
- handle patient documents and correspondence appropriately
- perform opening and closing duties including organizing and sanitizing
- align with ongoing education regarding workflows and technology
- execute other duties as assigned
