Job Description

Regal Cinemas is a leading movie theater chain known for delivering exceptional cinematic experiences to audiences across numerous locations. As a prominent entertainment company, Regal provides a dynamic work environment where employees work together to create memorable experiences for guests in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. Regal's commitment to guest service and employee development is reflected in its structured team roles and ongoing training programs, making it a preferred employer in the entertainment and hospitality industry. The company operates with a variety of employment types including variable hour, part-time, and full-time hourly positions, striving to accommodate individual employee availability and theater needs.

The Floor Staff position at Regal Cinemas plays a crucial role in ensuring guests receive outstanding service in a vibrant movie-going environment. Employees in this role may be assigned to work in different areas such as the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as Ushers, depending on the theater's operational requirements. The primary responsibility of Floor Staff is to act as welcoming representatives of Regal, embodying the company's mission and maintaining high standards of service and safety. This involves regular attendance, handling emergency situations when required, performing cleaning duties, and complying with company dress codes. Floor Staff members are integral to the smooth operation of daily theater activities and contribute significantly to guest satisfaction.

Box Office team members manage ticket sales operations, including use of the point-of-sale (POS) system, accurate cash handling, and promoting premium viewing experiences like 3D, RPX, and IMAX. They also ensure compliance with MPAA ratings and company policies, while providing friendly assistance via phone or in person. Concession Staff focus on food and beverage sales, operating POS systems, managing inventory, preparing concession items, and adhering strictly to food safety laws. They also promote the Regal Crown Club loyalty program and ensure all necessary alcohol certifications are maintained, adhering to legal requirements for serving alcohol.

Ushers play an essential role in customer service by guiding patrons to auditoriums, inspecting bags as necessary, and ensuring a secure, enjoyable theater environment. Their duties include enforcing rating guidelines, conducting auditorium inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, managing crowd control, cleaning auditoriums and common areas, and assisting with opening and closing procedures. Regal offers comprehensive training and support to all Floor Staff members, emphasizing communication, safety protocols, and teamwork to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.

Overall, this role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are committed to maintaining a welcoming and safe theater atmosphere.
