Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • retail or customer service experience required
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with ladder
  • physical ability to perform repetitive bending, stretching, and carrying
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in a public retail environment
  • legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating fun and creative environments
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons according to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup and emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards
  • set up and break down event spaces
  • help customers locate products and provide solutions
  • deliver fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and coworkers
  • cross train in custom framing sales and production
  • participate in store cleanliness activities
  • perform other duties as assigned
