PART-TIME EVENT VENUE REPRESENTATIVE

The City of Brentwood, located in scenic Williamson County, Tennessee, is widely recognized as one of the most desirable suburban communities in the state. Among these efforts is the preservation and restoration of two important historic homes, Ravenswood Mansion and the Cool Springs House, which serve as unique venues for public event rentals. These sites are managed under the direction of the City's Community Relations Department in partnership with the Brentwood Historic Commission.

The City of Brentwood is seeking a detail-oriented and communicative individual to join its team as a part-time Event Venue Representative for Ravenswood Mansion. This role pays $18 per hour and offers an excellent opportunity for those interested in event management to gain hands-on experience in a public sector setting. Working primarily Friday through Sunday from approximately 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, the Event Venue Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of events hosted at one of Brentwood's cherished historic landmarks. Responsibilities include working directly with clients, caterers, vendors, and guests to facilitate smooth event operations and enforce established venue policies. The position demands a strong ability to communicate rules and expectations professionally while maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor.

This role is ideal for individuals with previous event experience who excel at managing details and possess strong time management skills. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment, uphold high service standards, and contribute to the positive community image the City of Brentwood strives to maintain through its historic venues. In addition to event day coordination, the representative will act as the face of the venue on-site, helping ensure client satisfaction and adherence to all regulations to protect the integrity of the historic property.
