Job Description

We are a dynamic catering company specializing in delivering exceptional culinary experiences at various events and venues. Our team is passionate about creating memorable moments through high-quality food and impeccable service. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large celebrations, ensuring every detail is executed with precision and care. As a well-established catering business, we invest heavily in our staff, training, and equipment to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and cuisine.

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Pizza Maker to join our catering team. This role is crucial for ensuring that our pizza offerings at events not only meet but exceed the expectations of our clients and their guests. The position involves preparing, cooking, and serving pizzas on-site during catering events, often working within a mobile kitchen setup that can vary from venue to venue. Attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for quality pizza are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where timing and teamwork are key.

The Pizza Maker will be responsible for handling all aspects of pizza preparation, including stretching dough, assembling pizzas with a variety of toppings, managing ovens (which may be wood-fired or standard depending on the event setup), and ensuring that every pizza is cooked to perfection. Additionally, the role includes assisting with other food preparation tasks such as making sauces and prepping ingredients to support overall kitchen operations.

Working as part of a larger culinary and event team, the Pizza Maker must demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to deliver smooth service. Travel to multiple event locations is a regular part of this job, and candidates must have reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Compensation ranges from $20 to $25 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for additional hours through prep shifts involving dough production and ingredient preparation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have prior pizza-making experience in either a restaurant or catering environment and are looking to expand their skills in a lively, customer-focused setting. If you take pride in your craft, enjoy varied and engaging workdays, and value being part of a busy, supportive team, we would love to hear from you.
