Job Requirements
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed
- Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on schedule
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out from a scheduled shift
- Ability to perform physical demands including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting 50+ lbs
- Read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work collectively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized front and back of house
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet every guest happily while cleaning, using their name if possible
- Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Show a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional role duties
- Collaborate with all team members to foster a welcoming and positive work environment
- Respond to all repair requests promptly and document completion
- Keep preventative maintenance work up to date in accordance with the PM program
- Follow safety and health codes, report emergency concerns to supervisors
- Conduct full property walks at the start and end of shifts noting maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas during and before shift end
