The Educator role at lululemon is a pivotal position that serves as the foundation of the company's success. Educators are retail experts who specialize in delivering exceptional customer service — known as guest experience — within lululemon stores. The role requires individuals who are passionate about connecting authentically with guests, providing expert product education, and embodying the culture and community spirit of lululemon. Working as an Educator means being deeply engaged in every interaction with guests, ensuring their needs are understood and met with personalized solutions ranging from product purchases to returns. Educators facilitate a seamless shopping experience by handling transactions efficiently, supporting omnichannel programs such as buy online/pickup in store, phone sales, and ship-from-store options. They stay dynamic on the store floor to engage consistently with guests and assist wherever necessary. Further, they act as vital liaisons between the guests and store leadership, gathering feedback and taking action to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

Beyond guest interaction, Educators contribute actively to building a supportive and inclusive team environment. They celebrate diversity, foster collaboration, and maintain productive relationships with fellow team members to deliver an outstanding guest experience and maintain smooth store operations. Operational responsibilities include merchandising, restocking, inventory management, utilizing in-store technology, and ensuring the luxury retail environment is pristine and safe. This position requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in their store location, be at least 18 years old, and have access to reliable transportation to travel to the assigned store. The ability to thrive in an energetic environment with bright lights and loud music, the willingness to be on their feet throughout shifts, and the capacity to lift up to 30 pounds are essential for success in this role.

lululemon offers competitive compensation for this role, with hourly wages ranging from $19.00 to $21.86 based on location and experience, plus an additional target bonus of $2.00 per hour. Total target base pay ranges from $21.00 to $23.86 per hour. The company’s compensation philosophy rewards exceptional individual and team performance. Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store is located
  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have proof of the right to work and evidence relating to associated local legislative requirements (EMEA only)
  • must have the ability to travel to assigned store with own transportation methods
  • willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests to ensure a great guest experience in a manner that values guests' time
  • assess guests' needs to provide customized, effective purchase and return solutions and support
  • provide technical product education by articulating the value and benefit of the product
  • facilitate a seamless end-to-end guest experience by conducting accurate and timely guest transactions and executing market-relevant omnichannel programs
  • move dynamically on the floor to continuously engage with guests and attend to guest or store needs
  • receive guest feedback and partner with store leadership to take appropriate action and "make it right" for guests
  • perform product presentation tasks according to company standards
  • use in-store technology to support store operations and provide positive guest experiences
  • perform cleaning tasks as needed throughout the shift to maintain the luxury environment of the store
  • understand and adhere to people safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations
  • contribute to a respectful and inclusive team environment by welcoming and celebrating differences
  • establish supportive and productive relationships with all team members
  • collaborate with team members to ensure optimal guest experience and support store operations
