Job Description

Trash Butler is a pioneering company specializing in sustainable, doorstep valet trash and recycling services tailored specifically for multi-family apartment communities. Operating across 35 states and servicing over 250,000 units, Trash Butler has become a trusted name in residential waste management, recognized industry-wide as a top amenity by property managers and residents alike. The company is widely recognized in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal, TIME Magazine, and CNBC for its innovative approach and commitment to environmentally responsible waste solutions. At the core of Trash Butler's operations is a dedication to a service culture built around five core values: Figure It Out, Champion of Change, Do the Right Thing, Never 'Not My Job,' and Expect Excellence. These principles guide every team member to deliver efficient, courteous, and reliable services that enhance the residential experience while promoting sustainability.

In the role of a Trash Butler team member, individuals become the frontline representatives of the company in nightly trash and recycling collection. This position offers a unique opportunity to positively impact local apartment communities, ensuring cleanliness and convenience for residents. Those hired will play an integral role in the smooth execution of nightly service routes, using cutting-edge technology via a proprietary field app to improve efficiency and communication. With no prior experience required, Trash Butler provides comprehensive training to ensure every employee is confident and prepared to excel in their duties. Typical shifts run Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting sharply at 8:00 p.m. and typically lasting about three hours. Employees are compensated with competitive pay of $600 per month, disbursed semi-monthly, and gain access to incentive programs including an employee referral program, sales lead referral incentives, and the option for next-day pay, reinforcing the company's commitment to rewarding hard work and dedication.

This position requires candidates who are self-motivated, reliable, and eager to uphold the company’s core values while maintaining high service standards. Applicants can expect to operate in diverse weather conditions, perform physically active tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and climbing stairs, and use an open-bed pickup truck (required at most properties) safely to transport waste. The role also includes supplementary duties such as porter services, hauling bulk items, pet station waste removal, pressure washing, compactor cleanup, and other community cleanliness tasks to support property upkeep. Frequent communication with supervisory staff is essential to maintaining workflow efficiency and service quality. Joining Trash Butler not only means contributing to a cleaner environment but also becoming part of a fast-growing company known for excellence and opportunity in the waste management industry.
