Job Description
Valet Living is a renowned service company specializing in providing doorstep trash collection services to apartment communities. Known for its commitment to cleanliness, safety, and comfort, Valet Living delivers essential services that help apartment residents enjoy a cleaner and more pleasant living environment. The company focuses on creating sustainable and convenient waste management solutions by deploying dedicated Service Valets to manage the collection of bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps. This unique approach not only helps maintain community aesthetics but also enhances tenant satisfaction and contributes to a safer, more hygienic residential environment. Valet Living prides itself on its fast hiring process, steady part-time work opportunities, and strong support for its employees, making it an excellent choice for individuals seeking supplemental or second jobs with local engagement.
We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, sometimes called Service Valets, who will work primarily in the evenings helping keep apartment communities clean and tidy. This position offers a generous pay rate of $18 per hour for truck owners and $16 per hour for helpers, providing a steady income while allowing employees to work close to home on a flexible schedule. The role involves servicing one or more nearby apartment complexes, ensuring all trash and cardboard recycling is collected from doorsteps and taken to designated onsite compactors each evening.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for consistent evening hours typically running Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, with shifts totaling 10 to 15 or more hours per week. Because this is part-time evening work, it is particularly suitable for those balancing other commitments such as a full-time job, schooling, or family responsibilities. The job requires physical activity, including walking extensively around properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Importantly, there is no need for long-distance travel, offsite dumping, or handling bulky items, making the work focused and straightforward.
To perform this role effectively, applicants must own a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer, possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and have a smartphone with a data plan to use the company’s mobile app for check-ins, tracking, and documentation. The company values reliability and independence, expecting employees to follow consistent routines while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Working at Valet Living also comes with added benefits such as daily fast pay options through DailyPay, opportunities for career growth with many area leaders promoted from within, referral bonuses ranging from $125 to $500 for bringing new employees to the team, and provided safety equipment including gloves and vests. If you are someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, and being part of a community-centric service, this role offers a rewarding chance to make a positive impact locally while earning extra income in a flexible and supportive environment.
